Hi everyone:
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up: there is an email floating around Health PEI inboxes today which looks suspiciously like me asking you to confirm your availability to discuss a task. The message appears to be from me, but upon closer inspection is a phishing attack sent from a gmail domain. Please don’t click any links or respond to the sender.
Thank you to everyone who brought this to my attention. ITSS has been brought in, and they’re taking steps to prevent the message from being sent anywhere else on the network. This is a great reminder to always be on the lookout for suspicious email. Flag them immediately by forwarding them to phishing@gov.pe.ca.
