MyHealthPEI is a digital initiative developed by Health PEI and the Department of Health and Wellness to support access to care by providing secure online access to personal health information.
The initiative includes two distinct, secure streams:
- MyHealthPEI online resident service: allows Island residents to access components of their own health information; and,
- MyHealthPEI Health Care Provider Portal: provides community-based health care providers with secure access to select patient health information.

About MyHealthPEI (online resident service)
MyHealthPEI is a new secure online service that will provide Island residents aged 16 and older with convenient, 24/7 access to key components of their personal health information. Through MyHealthPEI, residents will be able to:
- view parts of their health record,
- access trusted health education resources, and
- connect with select health services.
This access can help patients better understand and manage their health, track conditions, and come to appointments more informed and prepared – supporting stronger collaboration between patients and their care teams. The goal of MyHealthPEI is to empower Island residents to take a more active role in their health care.
The service is currently in the patient testing phase.
About MyHealthPEI Health Care Provider Portal
A separate MyHealthPEI Health Care Provider Portal has been developed to give community-based health care providers, such as pharmacists, secure online access to select components of a patient’s personal health record, supporting more timely and informed care. The provider portal will initially be available to pharmacists, with plans to expand access to other community-based health care providers in the future.
Through the provider portal, pharmacists will be able to view a patient’s:
- immunization history,
- lab results:
- general lab results (from tests taken mid-May 2025 onward)
- microbiology lab results (from tests taken mid-July 2025 onward)
- pathology and cytology lab results (from tests taken end of September 2025 onward)
The testing phase for the Provider Portal has now successfully concluded. We extend our sincere thanks to the pharmacists who contributed their time and insights throughout this process!
As of early October 2025, we have transitioned into the broader pharmacist onboarding phase.
