Dear team,
Thank you for the warm welcome as I step into the role of interim CEO. I know this has been a time of transition for our organization, and I want to begin by recognizing the work each of you does every day to support patients, families, and one another. Your commitment is what keeps Health PEI moving forward, even when the path is challenging.
With change comes opportunity. My commitment is to lead with steadiness, collaboration, and a clear focus on what matters most. Over the coming weeks, my priority is to listen and understand the realities you’re facing, while supporting the important work already underway to improve access to care and enhance the experiences of both staff and patients.
You deserve clarity and a shared sense of direction. I will work closely with our leadership to provide that. We may not resolve every issue immediately, but we will take meaningful, thoughtful steps—together—and with the insight of the people who know this system best: our staff and those we serve.
