I am writing to share that Kelli O’Brien will be leaving her role as Chief Governance and Risk Officer with Health PEI, effective May 15, 2026.
Since joining the organization, Kelli has provided strong and thoughtful leadership within the governance and risk portfolio. Her work has helped strengthen accountability and supported our collective focus on delivering safe, effective and high quality health services for Islanders.
We are sincerely grateful to Kelli for her dedication, professionalism, and the many contributions she has made during her time at Health PEI. We also thank her for the support she has provided to teams across the organization, and we wish her every success in the next chapter of her career.
Planning is underway to ensure continuity of leadership and continued support for the important work within the governance and risk portfolio. Further updates regarding interim arrangements and next steps will be shared when available.
