I'm excited to invite you to join the Health PEI team at the Charlottetown Pride Parade on Saturday, July 20 at 12 p.m. This event is a longstanding tradition where PEI’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community comes together to advocate for equality and equity.
As health care professionals, it's important that we strengthen our relationships with 2SLGBTQIA+ community members, both within our team and among those we care for. Participating in events like the Pride Parade is one meaningful way we can demonstrate our commitment to inclusivity.
From what I have heard, our participation last year was fantastic and I encourage you, your family members and friends to join this year, all are welcome! If you would like to sign up, please email HPEIComms@ihis.org with the subject line “Pride Parade” by July 10 so we can provide numbers to the organizing committee.
