Dear Colleagues,
I would like to take a moment to advise of staffing changes within our executive leadership team. As you know, Corinne Rowswell has been acting as the Special Advisor to Chief Executive Officer for Health PEI on a temporary assignment to support my onboarding for the first few months. Corinne will be returning to her position as the Chief Operating Officer on Monday July 8, 2024. Since I began in my role, Corinne has provided incredible support and has gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition. I can’t thank her enough for her strategic advice, tireless effort and great camaraderie. On a personal note, I want to thank Corinne for sharing time and meals with me outside of work and her sense of humour and patience with all of my questions. She is a fantastic leader and I’m so grateful to have her by my side.
As you know, Andrew MacDougall has been acting as the Chief Operating Officer behind Corinne during her period in the acting Chief Executive Officer position and during her time as Special Advisor. Andrew rose to the occasion quickly and seamlessly and led many initiatives to completion during his assignment. Andrew has also been a terrific wing man on my road trips across the island, and I’m continually blown away by his depth of knowledge on the business of Health PEI and the Island in general! Andrew will be returning to his position as the Executive Director of Community Health and Seniors Care on Monday July 8, 2024.
I want to express my sincerest gratitude to both Corinne and Andrew for their outstanding leadership during their acting assignments. Their hard work and commitment to lead our organization during this period of transition and growth have been impressive. They have directly and positively made a significant impact on our organization during this time.
