There has been a fair amount of media coverage from last night's town hall in Summerside regarding critical care services at PCH, and I wanted to make sure I connected with you before the weekend.
Critical care at PCH and provincially remains one of our top priorities in the coming weeks and months, and we appreciate all the feedback from both staff and the public.
Earlier this week, I laid out our plan to build back critical care services at Prince County Hospital. If you haven’t had a chance to read it over, I encourage you to do so. I am confident in our collective ability to build a strong and sustainable critical care service in Summerside.
I want to thank each of you for your hard work, skills, and dedication. This is a challenge we are tackling together. We know it takes all parts of our system to make sure patients get the right care in the right place at the right time. Wherever you are, you are playing a pivotal role in creating the solutions we need. Thank you.
