Hi everyone,
I was able to finally make it into the office yesterday, and there were still sections of Route 2 with just one lane. I know many secondary roads are still narrow.
Over the weekend and into Monday, we received reports from all corners of the Island about your dedication to keeping the health care system running during this storm.
Many of you stayed on site for multiple days and nights to ensure our patients and residents received the care they need. I know there were staff who were just going home Tuesday after first arriving at work on Friday or Saturday. Please accept our sincere thanks for this incredible level of dedication and to your families and loved ones who had to manage without you home.
Wherever you are, I hope you have been able to get some well-deserved rest as I know the days pass quickly before the next shift.
