Mental Health and Addictions Training

Mental Health and Addictions (MH&A) Division is committed to be a welcoming service that provides our clients/patients with hope, help, and strength. To support this commitment, MH&A provides a strong orientation program along with ongoing education and professional development opportunities for all staff.

The MH&A Education Schedule and Catalogue provide staff with an outline of recommended Core Foundational, Developing and Advancing Education requirements to support staff during each phase of professional development in their role. As part of the Learning and Development process, all staff are expected to identify their own learning needs and to develop a plan with their supervisor to meet these needs.
