Upcoming Scheduled Outages:

Wi-Fi Controllers - Scheduled Network Outage Notification - August 28th at PCH

On Thursday, August 28th at 11PM, ITSS will be performing wireless (Wi-Fi) network maintenance to the Health Corporate wireless system at Prince County Hospital. This wireless network maintenance will last for 30 minutes per location and will cause Wi-Fi service interruptions. 

Hard wired network connectivity will be available during this time, so for those that may be working please hardwire into a network drop for connectivity. 

ITSS will monitor the wireless environment to ensure service has been restored appropriately. 

If your devices at PCH connect to any of the following wireless networks, they will be unavailable during this time: 

Health-Closed (Example: Corporate laptops and tablets – ITSS provided devices) 

Health-MedDev (Example: IV Pumps & Med Carts – Biomedical Devices) 

IPAD_WLAN

On Wednesday, September 3rd at 11PM, ITSS will be performing wireless (Wi-Fi) network maintenance to the Health Corporate wireless system at QEH. This wireless network maintenance will last for 30 minutes and will cause Wi-Fi service interruptions.  

  • Hard wired network connectivity will be available during this time, so for those that may be working please hardwire into a network drop for connectivity.  
  • ITSS will monitor the wireless environment to ensure service has been restored appropriately.  

If your devices at QEH connect to any of the following wireless networks, they will be unavailable during this time: 

  • Health-Closed (Example: Corporate laptops and tablets – ITSS provided devices)  
  • Health-MedDev (Example: IV Pumps & Med Carts – Biomedical Devices)  
  • Health-DMZ (Example: Some Biomed devices have access to this SSID in select locations) 
  • IPAD_WLAN  (Example: Some Health PEI iPads have access to this SSID) 
  • GPEI-Core (Example: Corporate Government laptops and tablets – ITSS provided device) 
  • EDU-Closed (Example: Corporate Education laptops and tablets – ITSS provided device) 
  • EDU-Closed (Example: Corporate Education laptops and tablets – ITSS provided device)
